Be picked from the airport / Hotel by our representative to start your 3 days flying safari to Meru National Park. You will be transferred to Wilson airport where you will board your flight by 9.00am headed to your destination. After a 1 hour flight, you will check in at the Camp in time of lunch. Relax and refresh before embarking on an evening 2 hours game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Elsa Kopje Luxury Camp
Wake up at 6.30am for your heavy breakfast. Check out of the camp and drive to the park in search of the big five, with the many bird life species. Regular sightings include Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Elephant, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Lesser Kudu, Grant’s Gazelle, Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Rhino and the rare, elusive Greater Kudu.
Named after Elsa the lioness of ‘Born Free’ fame, Elsa’s Kopje lodge is invisible to the eye as you approach the Kopjes. George Adamson’s original campsite was located nearby. Because it is the only operational lodge in Meru National Park, Elsa’s guests have the entire park to themselves.
After a successful game drive and game viewing, we shall check back into the camp for dinner and overnight at Elsa Kopjes Camp.
As this marks the last day, we shall have a morning game drive or just have breakfast at the lodge as we enjoy wildlife at close proximity before your flight to Nairobi calls us.
We Shall be transferred to the airstrip to board our flights back to Nairobi.
You will be dropped by our drivers at your hotel/airport

Welcome to Elsa Kopje
Unashamedly romantic and beautifully styled, Elsa’s Kopje is sculpted into Mughwango Hill, above the site of George Adamson’s original camp where he raised and released orphan lions, long before conservation became fashionable. Each cottage is crafted around the rocks, with a large bedroom, open sitting room, veranda and spacious bathroom, each with breathtaking views.
Guests can enjoy inimitable seclusion in the vast expanse of Meru National Park, boasting 870km² , the equivalent of 215,000 acres, of authentic African landscape. The park offers a thriving rhino sanctuary, and is famous for large elephant herds, hippo, lion, and birdlife; Meru National Park is recognised as having more diversity of animal species than any other park in East Africa.
The rugged and remote Meru National Park was rescued from oblivion thanks to Elsa’s Kopje, an environmental award-winning, boutique lodge. A winner of numerous awards over the years, Elsa’s Kopje is widely renowned as one of the most elegant lodges in Africa.
