About Samburu Saruni Luxury Camp
Saruni Samburu’s six luxury villas are open and spacious, heralding spectacular views over Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. They are stone structures with open fronts that are closed at night with canvas and nettings, providing total privacy and safety.
Two are Single Villas (one with a double bed and the other one with a twin that can become double). Both with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms, spacious living, and dining areas, and an outdoor verandah.
Two are Family Villas: each containing 2 x en-suite bedrooms with individual dressing rooms and one common large lounge and dining area, as well as several verandahs.
This type of villa has one common entrance and cannot be split out for separate use. Two are Family Villas: they have two separate entrances and can be booked both as a complete unit or individually, guaranteeing each party maximum privacy.
Each villa consists of 2 x en-suite bedrooms with individual dressing rooms, a large shared lounge and dining area, as well as several verandahs. The area that connects them can be open or closed, offering two solutions.
2. Samburu Intrepids Camp
Samburu Intrepids is a lush oasis on the banks of the great Uaso Nyiro River in Samburu Game Reserve. The tented luxury camp is a delight to be in – deliciously cooled by the river breeze and the forest.

Samburu Intrepids Luxury Tented Camp set in the Kenyan semi-arid north, offers 28 modern and newly refurbished tents with a private view over the wildlife-rich banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Each tent sits on a raised deck overlooking the brown river where the elephants sometimes make an appearance or the crocodiles come out to lounge by the river’s banks.

3. Elephant Bedroom Camp
The surrounding Samburu National Reserve is an area of spectacular scenery; its dry plains are bisected by the meandering river, with the backdrop of Africa’s dramatic mountains, including Mt Kenya.
The 12 spacious tents have rustic and colorful African touches, offering all the comforts; including a private plunge pool on the deck, hot and cold running water, electricity (and complimentary herbal shower and bath products.)

4. Samburu Sasaab Lodge
Sasaab Lodge is close to the Buffalo Springs National Reserves, in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. It’s a place of rich natural diversity with an astounding number of animals from huge majestic elephants to lions, leopards, and cheetahs and the ‘Samburu Special Five’: the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich.

Located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya, Samburu Sopa Lodge is built atop high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of Samburu shrubland and the hills beyond.
The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the workforce at the lodge.
