Experiencing some of Kenya’s greatest parks and wildlife, during our 5 Days Lake Nakuru Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari, to witness the great wildebeest migration and spot the lesser and greater flamingos in Lake Nakuru National Park. Suitable for families, friends, and couples on honeymoon.
Likely the best way to spend 5 days in Kenya, this tour takes in Masai Mara and the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park – allowing for some superb wildlife viewing and some exciting activities, such as a Boat Safari, all in the midst of beautiful landscapes.
Lake Nakuru National Park is the world’s most famous wildlife and bird life with abundant availability of algae that draws large numbers of the Lesser Flamingos which form a very beautiful pink blanket over the shallow waters that looks very attractive. Endangered Black and White Rhino species are also found here.
Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the best tourist attractions in the world. Visitors will experience the most wonderful game viewing of abundant arrays of Kenya’s untamed wilderness wildlife in Masai Mara including the majestic Big Five – Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo, and Elephant.
The dramatic sight of southern white rhinos, a lioness curled up with her cubs, the big cats, and the distinctive red cloak of young tribal warriors crossing the plains, which ensures enduring memories of an adventure of a lifetime safari to Masai Mara.
Safari Itinerary
Our Lake Nakuru Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari starts from Nairobi spending the next 5 days in the most premium parks in Kenya. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport early in the morning and depart Nairobi for Nakuru A 3 hours drive to the main gate, you drive through the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery escarpment en-route. We will arrive with a short game-en-rout drive proceeding to your lodge for check inn and lunch.
Check-in at our Lodge / Camp, later Afternoon game drive across Pink Lake is often referred to due to its Great masses of Flamingos but due to climate change only a few flamingos can be seen, not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.
Dinner and overnight at Our Lodge / Camp
After breakfast, we leaves Lake Nakuru National Park for Masai Mara. A 5 hour drive to the main gate you will pass to Narok town which is a famous Masai town proceeding to Masai Mara park. You will arrive in time for lunch Check in at our Masai Mara Camp or lodge and have lunch.
Later embark on our afternoon game drives through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals.
Overnight and Dinner at Your Camps
We will have our early morning game drives and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, we head off to our Full day game drive in the reserve with packed lunch in search of its popular wildlife residents of the Masai Mara plains.
They are full of wildebeest during migration season from early July to the end of September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky.
Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. later Meals and overnight at the Camp / Lodge
On our last day, we will be finalizing our Lake Nakuru Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari in Kenya. Early Morning breakfast at your camp. check out of the camp and Drive to Nairobi A 5 hours drive to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch.
Lunch at carnivore afterward drops off at your respective hotel or Airport depending on your departure time.
